| "Every
pilot needs his wing" . This is the philosophy with which
GRIF develops its design.
The CRS Kpl is our answer to the applications of the
sector, a wing without tower, it also allows an easier to put again in
structures normally devoted to the aerial treassis, tha natural evolution
of our products, the opening to haul decreased and a new project of the
sail, further to a new cut of the double surface, they make the CRS
kpl as many fast and contemporarily slower and manageable in

To satisfy the applications of our clients the CRS they are produced in
two ransoms.

CRS kpl-12 is special for trike that uses motor with
around 60 and over cv of power
CRS kpl-13 is special for trike that uses motor with
around 50 and less cv than power
Both the models can be employed both in monoplace and in biplace and both
can equally employ trike with all the motorizations above described.
CORSAIR kpl 12 coupled to a careened trike, and motorized
with a Rotax 503, in flight biplace reaches a maximum speed of around
140 Kmh; and it can fly for long lines to middle speed
of around 110 Kmh. and contemporarily can fly very slow,
to a least speed of around 45 Kmh.
While the CORSAIR kpl 13 are slightly a greater than
surface, 13,7 mq, it was born for satisfying that pilots that want to
continue to use the motor Rotax 503, to often fly in two and that they
appreciate the grim and the aesthetical aspect of the CORSAIR.
Able a maximum speed of 130 Kmh, a middle speed of 95

As
our custom, in the project, the attention has also been turned to the
aesthetical aspect of the wing, many gods the used components are those

new frame and the new system, its have been drawn with programs CAD,
a lot of time has been devoted to the compatibility of the new details
with the old ones, so that to allow possible retrofit. Thanks to this
GRIF it makes the change of the traditional frame possible turning
them into KPL frame.
The frame is made with tubes of AVIONAL 2017, the sail's
battens of ERGAL 7075 , all the plates and the mechanical
parts are made of AVIONAL 2024 , ALLUMINIUM 3571 and STAINLESS
STEEL , according to their use.
All the pieces were designed for mechanical work, but even providing
for aesthetical shape, the pieces of the driving triangle are an example
, which join and have the same tube's wing contour.
They are made by the best workshops with numerical control machine-tools.
We
use POLYANT'S products to make the sail, the leading-edge
is made of TRYLAM or PENTEX , but for the extrados
and double surface we use DACRON, reinforced where
there are the biggest efforts. It means a longest life
for our wings and some comfortable driving characteristics.
This production's organization allows us to obtain high aesthetical
and mechanical quality, maintaining low cost both for wings and spare-parts
.
