CH KPL

The Coach is in production, in both KPL versions and with cables, thanks to the availability of Polaris Motor and Ramphos, they have been tested with two of the most successful hydro vehicles, the tests confirmed the impressions detected also by a well-known journalist of the sector, according to which, this type of wings (monosurface and large sail surface) find their maximum application precisely in hydro flight.

The Coach KPL, thanks to the wing uprights, can be totally closed on the trike, leaving only the triangle open and the wing "structs" mounted, this, combined with the small number of splints, makes its disassembly particularly comfortable.

The advantages of the KPL frames are essentially related to their hangaring, practically a trike that mounts a wing of this type, can be hangared in a much more compact structure, occupying the height necessary for the storage of an ultralight three axle.

Minimum record speeds, below 40 Km / h, cruising speed of about 60 Km / h and a maximum speed of 85 Km / h, further define the characteristics of use of a Coach, short landings and take-offs, small installed powers, the possibility of going for a walk in the sky are the operational phases in which the Coach gives the best of himself.

As our custom, in the project, the attention was also paid to the aesthetic aspect of the wing, many of the components used are those known and perfectly tested in over 30 years of production and which now distinguish the GRIF style, the new, necessary for the new frame and the new system, they have been designed with CAD programs.

This wing has been used as standard on the Ramphos for over 10 years for both engines, the Rotax 582 and 912.

And it is a great novelty for the Polaris Motor FIB, compared to the wing (ARES) used as standard, as it has a lower wingspan and consequently also greatly improves the flotation characteristics, having less chance that the wingtip touches the water.
